Engineering Excellence on Demand
Welcome!
Welcome! Welcome to the new Applied Manufacturing Technologies newsletter.
AMT has been supplying complete consulting, engineering and design services for manufacturing since 1989,
specializing in robotics and flexible automation. With a staff of 230, we are working around the world
with a diverse group of manufacturing customers, helping to implement world class automation. Projects
range from 1 week to 1 year, from conceptualization to startup, and virtually every application.
Our company continues to grow, expanding staff and technologies, and our customers and industry
contacts constantly ask for updates on success stories, new services and industrial technologies. This
newsletter is the first of many new communication tools you'll see from AMT to keep you posted on the
latest in factory automation.
We would be happy to show you how AMT can help improve your manufacturing operations. Give us a call at

Automation Professionals Simulate for Success
Simulation can help throughout your project, from concept to startup. AMT can help you validate
layouts and cycletime estimates, balance multi robot lines, optimize floor space, and check tooling and
fixturing designs. And all the up front work carries through to the end of the project as AMT engineers can
generate even the most complex programs offline, reducing startup time on the plant floor.

Any Robot, Any Process, Any Complexity – give us a call and let us show you how AMT simulation
and digital process engineering can help improve your project. Click here for more information.

Control Engineering
AMT offers complete industrial
controls design services, including controls hardware design, layout, detailing, panel design and build, PLC ladder
logic design and customer operator interface programming. And after the engineering process, we'll come to the field
and provide installation and debug support in the plant.
We work with all the industry standard PLC's and GUI's, including AB, GEFANUC, Modicon, Siemens, PanelMate,
RSView, Wonderware, and others. We'll even write custom networking software and interfaces to connect your plant floor to
your enterprise system. Click here for more information.
Contact AMT today, and let automation professionals evaluate your project. Whether you're starting with
a clean sheet of paper to design a new system, or trying debug or add functionality to an existing installation, start
the process with an AMT Project Assessment and report.
