With that direction, AMT recently completed the acquisition of K-R Automation, one of the premier controls houses in factory automation. The acquisition has tripled the size of our controls engineering department and brought us a world class panel fabrication
facility with a 50 year heritage of excellence.

AMT is known as the “go to” robot guys, especially for large six and seven axis robot brands of all types. We are now happy to announce that we have recently added to our depth of expertise in the area of small, high accuracy, high speed robots.
As we expand our reach into General Industry automation segments, we see a greater demand for engineering experience related to smaller parts – systems typically automated with robots such as Epson, Denso, Stäubli, Adept, and other small robot brands. Our enhanced expertise in small robot application analysis, project leadership, and hands-on technical skills provides an excellent bridge for customers who have traditionally thought of AMT as the “big robot” guys.
