Discrete Event Simulation

Discrete Event Simulation is used to improve throughput by identifying hidden bottlenecks in production lines or facilities with hundreds of interconnected processes. It is the science of modeling an entire system with key events and processes that are expected to occur, helping to predict the performance and behavior of the system over a period of time. The results are used to refine the process to ensure the most efficient system.
