Robotics Tomorrow Features Kelly Chalmers in Collaborative Robot Discussion

AMT’s Senior Program Manager, Kelly Chalmers, was featured in a new Robotics Tomorrow article earlier this week entitled, “Benefits of Collaborative Robots.” Chalmers was asked about AMT’s history and mission, as well as the benefits, misconceptions, safety standards, and developments of collaborative robots.

She highlights AMT’s relationship with customers, addressing the obstacles some may have integrating robotic solutions. Chalmers also discusses the wide range of possibilities collaborative robotics offers.

Mark Teed Quoted in Control Design December Issue

Applied Manufacturing Technologies’ own Controls Program Manager, Mark Teed, was quoted in the December issue of Control Design. The issue discussed the expanding use of robotics in various aspects of manufacturing. Teed’s insight was featured in the article “New strategies for old components”, which covered the often overlooked importance of incorporating traditional machines and mechanical components.
