Held again this year in conjunction with ATI, there will be a full day of technical sessions and equipment demonstrations at both locations.

AMT Speaker Session Topics include:

  • Safety Compliance – The release of R15.06-2012 and what it means to you
  • When to Automate – The process of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
  • Building Automation Resources – AMT Training Academy and Approach

Lunch and refreshments will be provided. We encourage you to park at the AMT facility. A shuttle will be running all day between AMT and ATI.

9:30-10:00 ANSI/RIA R15.06-12 Safety Specification – What it means to you

This session addresses the implications of the new safety standard R15.06-12 and how it applies to all participants in the “automation chain” including robot manufacturers, integrators, and end users.

10:30-11:00 When to Automate – The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Process

This session addresses how to determine when automation makes sense — and when it doesn’t’t — and introduces this Advanced Manufacturing Engineering methodology.

11:30-12:00 Building Automation Engineers – AMT Process for building and launching engineering careers

Since 1989, AMT has launched the careers of over 300 automation engineers. This session describes AMT’s practical approach to launching new automation engineering careers.

1:00-1:30 ANSI/RIA R15.06-12 Safety Specification – What it means to you
